Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum operated by Sodus Bay Historical Society on the southern shores of Lake Ontario in New York State provides free summer concerts and 4th of July celebration as well as many historical displays of maritime history, lighthouse history, and Sodus Bay history.

Maritime Library

On the Second floor of the Museum is a small, but well cataloged library of historic books, pictures and documents which continue to be collected by the members of the Society about every aspect of Sodus Bay Area History. 

Operating Hours

• Open May 1 to October 31
• Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm
• Closed Sunday
• Open by appointment from October 31 to May 1

The use of the library is restricted to SBHS membership, companion societies and those seeking genuine research reference materials.
